  This is her lovely boy Edmund! Poor guy, he never gets a break ;m; you totally need to go check out Karrey's amazing artwork and characters- she's a wonderful comic artist! Honestly, every time I draw her characters I tend to steal a little bit of her style >3 because they are just so perfectly themselves when she draws them! So yes *w* go look at her gallery NOW! Let me know if this portrait looks a little weirdly oversatured? It looked just right on my LCD, but then it was so blah on the CRT, so I bumped up the saturation a little. Also, dear Edmund kicks off a set of portraits of people with eye problems xD More coming soon! Gosh I need to go to bed >_< why am I still up at 7am...  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Same here. Curse screwed up sleep schedules.
It looks like Edmund's eyes are sewn shut. That, while undoubtedly painful, is an interesting detail that you drew wonderfully. His flowing hair, too, looks very real and (putting aside my heterosexuality) rather dreamy. The expression in his face is palpable, even without eyes showing. In short, very very good job!
And yes, Edmund's eyes are- it's so creepy I had to draw it, although he usually lets his hair cover them. But thanks a bunch ^-^ I was worried that I wouldn't be able to convey an emotion as well without the eyes- especially since people remark that the bright eyes is their favorite part of a portrait- but somehow this works. I blame *karrey's wonderful character skills!

Well, by the time it's 7:30 or so, it feels stupid to go to sleep. You start thinking, "well I'm already up, so..."
It depends. Music is good for helping me get into the mood, but if I'm already feeling inspired, it just gets in the way. For example, I wrote for some four hours tonight with nothing but the whir of my computer's fan for company. Sometimes I listen just to fill the silence though. It tends to affect what I write - makes writing when iTunes is on random quite the roller coaster ride of a story.
Always passing the buck. You should take responsibility more often. ^.^
